Zen Art Workshop

Zen Art is a simple and repetitive form of drawing that helps you relax, concentrate and be fully in the present moment. It's a fun and creative approach, ideal for children, where you draw calm and harmonious patterns, one line after another. Zen Art classes invite children to enter a soothing and creative universe, inspired by mandalas and zentangles. Through simple repeating patterns, children first learn to observe, then reproduce different lines. Little by little, these patterns fill the contours of a drawing, transforming each creation into a unique work. In parallel with working on patterns, children discover the basics of drawing and graphic arts. They are learning about inking, learn to choose and use colors, to understand coloring, gradients, as well as the notions of shadows and light. This learning allows them to give relief, depth and life to their creations. Beyond drawing, Zen Art is a true experience of well-being. It allows the child to slow down, settle down and concentrate fully on the present moment. The gesture becomes more precise, more sure, and the hand learns to work in harmony with the eye.
