For a short hike suitable for younger children, start at the visitor centre in Tamarin and walk along the river until you reach a swimming hole. The path is shady under trees and you might see monkeys! Whilst the path is relatively flat the terrain is rocky and so not suitable for strollers. Bring a picnic and swimming clothes for water play. Accessing the park is hard by public transport so a car or taxi is best, be aware that there is very limited cell phone signal in the park.
Bring good walking shoes and snacks; no facilities inside
