Signal mountain hike
Family-friendly hike to the summit of Signal mountain. The route consists of a paved road which leads up to a communication station at the summit with spectacular views across Port Louis and the west coast. The road is closed to general traffic and is used only for access to the station it is popular for hiking and running but is quite steep. The route is approximately 3km each way, my 3 year old made it to the top without being carried but it very much depends on the child!

Weather Notes
The road is not so shady so it is best to do it when it is cooler, either first thing in the morning or in time to watch sunset from the top.
